INCUBARTE

 I am so pleased to have been chosen to be in the Valencian Festival of Art “INCUBARTE” These 2 wee pieces have been selected 🙂
This is a festival which will be celebrated in various gallery´s and in the MUVIM, in Valencia over the period of 3 days! 21 hasta el 23 of June 2012

The 5th International Independent Art Festival INCUBARTE is a cultural event that includes plastic and visual arts, which has been evolving over the last five years with great success in Valencia.
INCUBARTE, was conceived as a meeting point for artists and audience and is also a public and free event with a festive nature where networks are created between different professionals in arts and culture. Our main objective is to expose Valencian citizens to the latest local and international art trends, selecting artists from the international art scene.

In 2012, the festival is celebrating its 5th edition, retaining its original proposition to the research, promotion and spread of new art trends. The programme includes all types of art genres, such as painting, sculpture, installation, photography, video-art, art-nature, mural, street art, urbanism and mapping. INCUBARTE is specially focuses on all kinds of interdisciplinary and innovative projects and creations, and proposes an original, innovative and creative view of all art trends.

My piece for “Pinceladas Colectivas”!
“Pinceladas Colectivas” is a project which was started in “Rusafa Conviu” in May 2011.
They have asked various artists to present their art work on these cardboard figures. They will be exhibiting as soon as they have enough figures to show, at the minute i think there are 35 or so to date!
I´ll keep you posted!

My work is up in Artico untill next Tuesday 8th of May! I have had such a great support in this show! Thanks to everyone who has come to have a wee look! Now it´s the final countdown till the Dublin show!!!

The ghost of the lost lake!

Just drawing a few wee ideas for the show in Dublin! 
I wanted to have quite a range of wee drawings and collage. So far i´m just managing drawing at the minute! Its all a bit hectic at the minute, as always, and its dificult to get time! Dad´s coming over in a couple of weeks, so hopefully we get our wee heads together for a bit of brainstorming! We will be doing one piece together, which I´m really looking forward too!!

BELOW IS SOME OF THE WORK FROM THE SHOW AT TRENTATRES GALLERY. THERE WERE ALSO 9 PIECES OF OLD WORK WHICH ARE IN THE BLOG, THE ONES THAT HADN´T SOLD PREVIOUSLY.
THERE ARE 2 MORE PIECES, BUT I DID´NT GET TIME TO SCAN THEM IN! SO I WILL POST THEM AS SOON AS I CAN! THE SHOW IS ON FOR 5 WEEKS, SO THERE IS PLENTY OF TIME TO SEE MY WORK IF YOU DID´NT GET A CHANCE BEFORE! THANKS EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT! AND NOW OFF TO START DRAWING FOR THE NEXT SHOW IN SEPTEMBER. I WILL BE SHOWING IN DUBLIN, THE PEPPERCANISTER GALLERY ALONG SIDE MY FAVORITE ARTIST, MY DAD! I´LL KEEP YOU POSTED!
