I have been in an art residency in Berlin for the last month. This Friday I would like to invite you to my open studio, where the work I have been making during my stay, will be on show.

Prints of previous work will also be there for sale!
I will be showing along side my good friend and artist Jordi Bisquert Mascarell, and my favorate DJ will be playing at the opening too…. Jorge Depanachi aka 1 fat DJ!!!

Last week there has been a lot going on!! The opening of “Pinceladas Colecivas” had a big opening on Thursday, 148 artists have contributed to this great idea! Every artist gets the same shape, a human outline made of wood, and are asked to do whatever they want with it!! This is my piece, and the invitation to the show. It´s on till the 11th of September, so plenty of time to see it!

“Sombras of Yeats”

I am delighted to have been invited to exhibit along side various artists for an exhibition that celebrates 150 years since the birth of W.B. Yeats, June 13th 1865. The exhibition will be in March this year, and held in the Hamilton Gallery in Sligo! The title of the show´s title is Impressions of W.B. Yeats, I will keep you posted of the opening!!

The opening night was Friday 9th January 2015 from 6pm-8pm, and i want to say a massive thank you to all who came to my first solo show in Belfast, at the Belfast Waterfront HalI!
It was great to see so many familiar faces there! Thank you for all your support!
. The show will continue on until the 1st of February, so pass by and have a wee look!

Este año se cumple la sexta edición del Mercado Arte d Bolsillo, obras exclusivas de más de 15 artistas que participan este año en Sporting, todos ellos lo mejor de lo mejor!! pinturas, dibujos, esculturas, ilustraciones fotografías ….a precios muy económicos, formato pequeño y asequible al bolsillo, de ahí el nombre del mercadillo y no solo podrás comprar y admirar la obra de estos artistas sino que también podrás disfrutar de ver la exposición de Curro Canavese, tomarte un buen vino y disfrutar de buena música!

Yo estaré ahí con nuevas laminas, mini laminas, tarjetas y algunas dibujos originales!

València Intramurs es un proyecto para la promoción del arte contemporáneo enclavado dentro del área que las antiguas murallas de Valencia abarcaban. Un grupo de profesionales formado por artistas, diseñadores, gestores y teóricos del arte, unidos con la idea de organizar un festival interdisciplinar, quieren llevar a cabo esta gran experiencia en contacto con las asociaciones, instituciones y comercios de esta zona centro con intención de dinamizarla cultural, profesional y comercialmente. Zona que en estos últimos años está sufriendo de una manera especial la crisis económica actual. Unos profesionales que han formado parte de otras experiencias artísticas, de todo tipo y género.
Por eso, este año se proyecta dos fines de semana excitantes en el que el visitante, el turista y el vecino podrán visitar muestras y actuaciones en diferentes espacios urbanos, como las calles y plazas, los jardines o los espacios abiertos exclusivamente para esta ocasión para poder mostrar intervenciones, muestras en escaparates o llevar a cabo happenings y performances. Así como también los espacios tradicionales: las galerías, los bares u otros espacios que dentro de su programación habitual quieran añadir alguna actividad extra a este evento. Además, hay que contar una gran cantidad de actividades paralelas como conferencias, talleres infantiles, desfiles de moda, programaciones de vídeo, música en la calle o las visitas guiadas y la apertura de los talleres de los artistas del barrio, que cerrarán esta larga programación. La oferta cultural en la zona Intramurs de estos fines de semana de noviembre será tan extensa que puede ser inabarcable, además, por supuesto, de ser gratuita.
